
Anthony David Gonzalez was born on the 27th of February, 1976. He is an American football tight end. He played for 17 years in the National Football League. Gonzalez is considered to be one of the top tight ends to ever play, and currently is the most successful NFL tight end with regards to receiving yards and receptions made by tight ends. Gonzalez is third in total receptions. Gonzalez's first 12 seasons spent with the Kansas City Chiefs. In 1997, he made it to the NFL's draft as the 1st pick. Additionally, he was a part of the Atlanta Falcons for five of the final seasons. Gonzalez quit in 2013 and was an analyst in the football league at NFL on Prime Video. He previously worked for CBS Sports and Fox Sports. Gonzalez also received six first-team All-Pro honors. Gonzalez was famous for his toughness and ability to not fumble. He was a part of 272 of the 272 games in the regular season and only lost two fumbles with 1,327 touches. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame In the year the year 2019.
